Every qualification we deliver is set, examined and certified by an independent awarding body, not by IISC. Here is who each body is, what they regulate, and how to check a certificate is genuine.
Accreditation protects your investment: it means the qualification you study is examined to a consistent, externally set standard, and that a certificate earned today will still mean the same thing to an employer years from now, wherever you use it. That is why we only teach toward qualifications set by established, independent bodies.

The organisations behind our qualifications
Six independent bodies, each responsible for setting the syllabus and marking the assessment for the courses they award.
NEBOSH
National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health, UKAn independent UK awarding organisation that develops and examines qualifications in health, safety, environmental management and risk management. NEBOSH sets the syllabus and marks assessments itself, so results carry the same weight wherever they are awarded.
Regulates: Occupational health and safety, environmental management and risk management qualifications.
Recognition: Used as a benchmark by employers in more than 130 countries when hiring for safety-related roles.
IOSH
Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, UKA UK-based chartered professional body that promotes workplace health, safety and wellbeing. IOSH develops internationally recognised training and accredits trainers to deliver it consistently, wherever in the world the course is taught.
Regulates: Management-level health and safety training, including Managing Safely and Working Safely.
Recognition: Delivered and recognised worldwide, and widely requested for management and supervisory roles.
OSHA
Occupational Safety and Health Administration, United StatesThe US federal body responsible for setting and enforcing workplace safety standards. Its 30-Hour Outreach programme gives supervisors and safety-conscious workers a broad, practical understanding of those standards.
Regulates: US occupational safety and health standards across construction and general industry.
Recognition: Widely requested on international construction and industrial projects run to US specifications or by US-affiliated contractors.
OTHM
OTHM Qualifications, UK, regulated by OfqualA UK awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual, the body responsible for qualification standards in England. OTHM diplomas are held to a consistent, externally audited quality standard across business, management and safety-related subjects.
Regulates: Ofqual-regulated diplomas from Level 3 through Level 7 across management and safety disciplines.
Recognition: Used both as standalone professional qualifications and as a structured route toward university progression.
NVQ
National Vocational Qualification, UKA competence-based UK qualification format assessed against national occupational standards. Rather than a written exam, an approved assessor reviews real workplace performance, professional discussion and a portfolio of evidence.
Regulates: Workplace competence in construction, engineering, occupational health and safety and related fields.
Recognition: A UK vocational qualification format understood across construction, engineering and industry internationally.
ISO
International Organization for StandardizationISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are international standards covering quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management respectively, together the most widely adopted management-system framework used by organisations worldwide.
Regulates: Quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems.
Recognition: Adopted by organisations across manufacturing, construction, healthcare and many other sectors worldwide.

Middle East & GCC
NEBOSH, IOSH and OSHA-aligned qualifications are among the most commonly requested safety credentials by employers across the GCC construction, oil & gas and industrial sectors.

NEBOSH, IOSH, OTHM and NVQ are all UK-originated qualifications, so recognition in the UK and across much of Europe reflects the awarding body’s home standard directly.
