OTHM Qualifications, Level 3, Level 6 & Level 7 Diplomas
Ofqual-regulated UK diplomas from foundation to postgraduate level, with university progression routes.
Overview
OTHM is a UK awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual, offering qualifications across occupational health and safety, business management, information technology, education, health and social care, logistics, project management, tourism and more.
IISC delivers OTHM diplomas at three levels, Level 3, Level 6 and Level 7, so learners can enter at the point that matches their current experience and progress upward as their career develops. Each level is assessed through coursework and assignments rather than a single high-stakes exam.
Because OTHM diplomas sit on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework, they are widely used both as standalone professional qualifications and as a structured route toward university-recognised progression.
What is OTHM?
OTHM is regulated by Ofqual, the body responsible for qualification standards in England, which means its diplomas are held to a consistent, externally audited quality standard rather than being set independently by any single training provider.

Course syllabus

For learners strengthening academic skills before further study, or developing career skills from an earlier stage. Broadly equivalent to UK A Levels or foundation level, and prepares learners for undergraduate entry or progression to Level 4 and above.
Level 6, Bachelor’s-degree equivalent
For working professionals enhancing knowledge, leadership skills and industry expertise. Academically equivalent to the third year of a UK Bachelor’s degree. Covers risk management, problem solving, organisational performance, professional decision-making, research and analysis, and effective management. Progresses to Level 7.
Level 7, Postgraduate
For experienced professionals, senior managers and future leaders. Equivalent to postgraduate diploma or Master’s level on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework. Via partner institutions, learners can often progress to the dissertation stage of a university Master’s degree, subject to that university’s own admission requirements.
